Where Art Brings Two Nations Together

The China–Russia Culture and Arts Festival invites youth art troupes from across Russia to Guangzhou — to share the stage with the Guangzhou Children's Palace Art Troupe, visit local schools, and learn side by side with Chinese students of their own age.

Four days of artistic exchange in Guangzhou lead into two days by the sea in Zhuhai: a joint gala performance, school visits, a shared master class, Lingnan culture and heritage, and ocean adventure on the southern coast — one festival, one lasting friendship.

The festival is hosted by the Festival Organizing Committee together with the Guangzhou Children's Palace, a seasoned host of international youth exchange performances. Russian interpreters, accompanying teachers, and a dedicated liaison for every troupe travel with the group from arrival to departure.

Joint Gala Performance
Russian troupes take the stage in turn with the Children's Palace orchestra, ballet and choir — an evening of artistic dialogue between the two nations, with a finale rehearsed and performed by students of both countries together. The performance is filmed in full as a keepsake for every young performer.

Inside Guangzhou Schools
Grouped by discipline, the troupes visit local campuses in small groups — touring schools and studios, watching art classes and club showcases, then giving a pop-up performance for the host school before students pair up to teach each other one song, one dance, one phrase.

A Shared Master Class
Chinese and Russian students work in mixed groups, co-taught by artists of both countries across voice, ballet and instrumental tracks — closing with a joint showcase of everything they learned that morning.

Lingnan Arts and Heritage
The brick carvings, plaster reliefs and painted ornament of the Chen Clan Academy, a hands-on workshop in Canton porcelain or embroidery, the city seen from the Canton Tower observation deck, and the illuminated skyline from a Pearl River night cruise.

A Seaside Break in Zhuhai
Ocean-facing rooms at a seaside hotel, a bucket in hand across the tidal flats collecting shells at low tide, then swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding under professional coaches and lifeguards.

Tech Visit and Theme Park Day
A tour of the showroom and R&D spaces of a Zhuhai technology company — drones, smart devices or marine technology — with an open exchange with the engineers, followed by a full day at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom.

Days 1–4 · Gala performance, school visits, master class & Lingnan culture
Day 1
Arrival in Guangzhou · A Warm Welcome
All DayRussian troupes arrive in Guangzhou. Meet and greet at Baiyun International Airport, with transfer and check-in assistance at the city hotel; the program and safety briefing are covered en route.
EveningWelcome dinner and opening ceremony — welcome remarks from the organizing committee and the Children's Palace. Chinese and Russian students exchange small gifts and receive the full schedule of performances and visits.
DetailsRussian-speaking interpreters and accompanying teachers throughout; dinner balances Russian tastes with Cantonese flavours.
Day 2
The Festival Gala — One Stage, Two Nations
DaytimeJoint rehearsal and stage run-through. Troupes rehearse by program segment with unified staging, lighting and accompaniment; the finale is rehearsed by students of both nations together.

Inside Guangzhou Schools
MorningInto local schools, in small groups. Grouped by discipline, the troupes visit Guangzhou schools — touring campuses and studios, and watching art classes and club showcases.
AfternoonPop-up performance and buddy exchange — a short show for the host school, then students pair up: one song, one dance, one phrase taught to each other, closing with an exchange of keepsake cards.

Tech Visit · A Stroll by the Sea
MorningInside a technology company — tour the showroom and R&D spaces of a Zhuhai tech firm working in drones, smart devices or marine technology, with an open exchange with the engineers.
AfternoonRide or stroll along Lovers' Road, visit the Fisher Girl statue and look out toward the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge; free time back at the hotel beach.
NoteThe host company is confirmed in the final program; weather permitting, an evening beach bonfire can be arranged.
Day 7
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom · Farewell
DaytimeA full day at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom — face to face with whale sharks in one of the world's largest aquariums, the penguin and beluga habitats, dolphin shows and the parade, with rides and attractions explored together.
EveningClosing ceremony — keepsakes and seven days of memories shared — then private transfer to Zhuhai or Guangzhou airport for the flight home.
IncludedPark admission, express passes and in-park meals are all included.
